Over 200 Supported Gilda’s Club Dog Walk
Owners of over 200 dogs donated at least $25 per leash to walk in a light rain on Saturday, Oct. 10, for the 11th Annual “Paws 4 Life” Dog Walk at Warminster’s Community Park. The showers did nothing to thwart the high spirits of the people or their canine companions as they trooped along the paths to benefit Gilda’s Club Delaware Valley. Following the walk, there were refreshments, prize drawings and tours of the Gilda’s Clubhouse.
More than 24 proud corporate sponsors supported this event that raised over $57,000 for Gilda’s. For the first time there were two Title Sponsors - Endo Pharmaceuticals and Stroehmann Bakeries - whose leadership donated at least $5,000 each to Gilda’s vital mission.
