Directions
The Run/Walk will be held at Warminster Community Park, with fun events following at Gilda's Club, which is adjacent to the park. Please park at WCP. Entrance is located at 300 Veterans Way (Johnsville Blvd. and Veterans Way). Follow signs for Alex Boyes Run.
From Turnpike:
North on Rt. 611 to Rt. 132 (about 5 miles)
Turn right on Rt. 132(Street Road) East
Follow Rt. 132 to Johnsville Blvd. (7-11 across the street)
Take the first right o Veterans Way
Park entrance is at the end of Veterans Way
From Doylestown:
South on Rt. 611
Turn left on Bristol Road
Turn right on Jacksonville Road
Turn left on Johnsville Blvd.
Turn left on Veterans Way
Alex lost his fight with melanoma on September 17th 2009.
Alex was a Boy Scout and he completed his Eagle Scout project at Gilda's Club in 2004. He refurbished the bbq pit area. Alex was also a member of the walk/run group.
Gilda's Club and the walk has been an important piece of the healing process for Alex's family.
